厚さが6cmもある特注のかなり横長なオーダーキャンバスに私のオリジナルジェルメディウムを3箱使い切って涼しい波を表現しました。
爽涼とは“気候が爽やかで涼しいさま”のことです。
昔、早朝の夏の海に行った時に信じられないくらい心地よい波と風が吹いていたことがとても印象的でした。
冷たいわけではなく、強いわけでもない。それは優しく気持ち良い風と波の音でした。

光に当てることで艶が美しく輝き、景色が反射します。また、高さも出しているので光源を変えることで影の位置も変わります。
最高の青のグラデーションが出るまで何度も塗り直した、絵の具も時間もたっぷりと使った1枚です。
